Steep mountain terrain, exposed rock surfaces, and dense vegetation cause a sharp drop in water pressure on steep slopes for standard fire pumps, making it difficult to suppress fire at higher elevations. The water delivery layer is equipped with high-pressure relay fire pumps (three-stage G320 with 290 m head, four-stage G430 with 350 m head) to overcome elevation differences on steep slopes. The water storage layer utilizes mobile water supply points in conjunction with relay refilling.
