When is the best time to procure forest fire equipment?

We recommend completing all purchases 1–2 months before fire season to leave time for production, logistics and acceptance. Common items (forest fire water pump, collapsible water tank, high-pressure water-mist extinguisher etc.) are usually ex-stock; bundled configurations follow contract lead time.

Can I purchase single items and arrange my own delivery?

Yes. Equipment is shipped nationwide by freight; for matching setups (e.g. water pump + water gun + collapsible tank) we recommend bundled configuration to ensure interface compatibility, subject to contract terms.

How do you use a high-pressure water mist fire extinguisher? Is it complicated to operate?

Simple and easy to use—no complexity, and a single operator can quickly get the hang of it. Operation involves three steps: connect to a water source or use the built-in water tank, start the engine or motor, and pull the trigger to spray. Taking the LSA-XSW-J30 as an example, the rated pressure is approximately 8–10 MPa, with a flow rate of 30 L/min and a spray distance of up to 10–15 meters. The fine water mist has droplet sizes smaller than 400 microns, delivering strong cooling, oxygen isolation, and radiant heat shielding effects—making it ideal for extinguishing initial-stage forest fires, forest edge fires, and mopping up residual embers. It can also be used for incipient electrical fires (maintaining a safe distance is required). Note: Before use, check the sealing of the pipeline; do not run the unit dry; drain any residual water promptly after extinguishing; and take antifreeze measures in winter. Routine maintenance is straightforward—just clean the filter screen and nozzle. The overall operational threshold is low, and full proficiency can be achieved within half an hour of training.

How long does the lithium battery last on the fan? How long can it run on a single charge?

The runtime of a lithium-battery fan (such as the LSA-LDFJ84) mainly depends on battery capacity and speed setting. As a general industry standard, a single fully charged battery can run continuously for about 30–60 minutes at medium fan speed, while runtime at high airflow is reduced to 15–30 minutes. In actual use, runtime may fluctuate to some extent due to ambient temperature, fan speed setting, and fan load. It is recommended to carry 1–2 spare batteries during operations, or choose a dual-battery backpack to extend continuous working time. This model is usually equipped with a fast charger, and fully charging one battery takes about 1–2 hours. To protect battery life, do not recharge only after the battery is fully depleted; recharging at 20%–30% remaining capacity is better. When purchasing, confirm the battery capacity (such as the Ah rating) and warranty policy with the manufacturer, as runtime varies greatly among different configurations. Be sure to evaluate the number of battery packs required based on actual firefighting or fireline-clearing needs.

What size battery does the LSA-LDJ84 lithium battery chainsaw use, how long is its runtime, and how long can it cut continuously?

The LSA-LDJ84 lithium battery chainsaw is typically equipped with a 60V, 4–6Ah lithium battery, placing it in the category of portable chainsaws commonly used in forest firefighting. Battery life is significantly affected by wood diameter, hardness, and operating method: when cutting soft mixed wood around 10cm in diameter, a single battery can run continuously for about 30–50 minutes; when cutting hardwood over 20cm or frequently operating at full load, it lasts about 15–25 minutes, and it is generally recommended to carry 2 or more batteries for rotation. The industry-standard figure is "approximately 20–40 minutes of continuous full-load operation per battery," though actual performance depends on working conditions. It is suitable for fire scene obstacle clearance, firebreak creation, and felling small-diameter trees. Its advantages include zero emissions, low noise, and fast startup, but its battery life and power are lower than those of a gas chainsaw. For large-diameter trees or prolonged high-intensity operations, a gas chainsaw is still recommended. During use, pay attention to chain lubrication and battery heat dissipation, and avoid overloading.

For high-lift water source pumps drawing water on mountains, roughly what vertical lift and horizontal delivery distance can be achieved?

The vertical head of conventional heavy-duty high-lift water source pumps is generally in the range of 200–350 meters, with horizontal transmission distances of up to 1,000–2,000 meters, depending on the pump model's power, pipe diameter, and terrain elevation difference. Taking a heavy-duty pump such as the LSA-Z800 as an example, the rated head is typically calibrated as the maximum vertical lift height at the rated flow rate. In actual operation, every 10 meters of horizontal piping is approximately equivalent to 1 meter of head loss, and elbows and manifolds will further reduce the effective head. Therefore, when drawing water in mountainous areas, it is recommended to estimate the usable head at 70%–80% of the rated value, prioritize shortening the piping and reducing elbows, and use relay pumps in conjunction. When selecting a model, look at the flow-head curve rather than relying on a single peak parameter.
